What are cookies?
A cookie is a small data file sent to your computer by a website. The website tells your web browser (for example Internet Explorer) to store these cookies on your computer. There are two types of cookies: session cookies, which are deleted from your computer when you close your browser; and persistent cookies, which remain stored on your computer even after your browser is closed.
There are social media sharing buttons on this website. When you use one of the buttons, the code behind the button places a cookie on your computer. The privacy rules of the social media networks are applicable here. Flanders Literature has no influence on and is not responsible for the way these social media networks handle your personal data. We also have no control over the way other social media users handle your information after you share something that is published on the Flanders Literature website.
